UNIVERSAL TOOL

Universal Tool needed a strong brand identity to match its tough product line. The use of positive and negative space to create the letters “U and “T” creates opportunities for later uses such as signage, silk-screened decals, and even product branding in the form of embossed metal tool stamping.

Since this logo could very well be used in embossed or debased metal, the mark had to be compact and is clever in its use of positive and negative space. For our professional logo designers, that is the challenge that excites them… saying more with less and considering each small detail of the logo design.
