WHAT WE DID

Project: Historical Book Series About Abraham Lincoln

Graphic Works was honored to be chosen to create 3 books about Abraham Lincoln for the National Park Service. The first, “Abraham Lincoln’s Inaugural Journey,” helped people relive his presidential Inaugural train ride.

The second book, “Abraham Lincoln’s Journey to Greatness,” captured his human and political character that brought him to be one of this country’s most revered leaders. The National Association for Interpretation awarded this book 1st place in their media awards competition.

The third book “Abraham’s Journey Home,” depicted the funeral train journey from Washington, D.C. to Springfield, Illinois that took “Old Abe” home after his assassination.

Sometimes factual books tend to be dull, but our graphic designers compiled massive amounts of historic information and beautifully mixed it with compelling custom graphics, photos and illustrations. That magic combination made the story of this president come to life.
